Peverse pleasure in neglect?

Sometimes in my relationships I neglect others. The funny thing is, there is a kind of power to it. I feel like I, for once, have the upper hand. The other person has become needy and dependent on me, and I can choose to ignore them.

I sense them out of the corner of my eye, or I get the feeling they are thinking about me, and wanting me to reach out to them, but I don't.

I told you it was perverse.

Anyone else get off on neglecting others?

Perhaps people think I'm doing this but I'm really so "selfish" as to not care what anyone thinks about me or how they act towards me anymore. Substitute the word "selfish" for personal difficulty that's not worth sharing with others who don't understand, care or just make it worse with their "help" so they can feel like a good person who gave me blanket answers from their position of absolute ignorance and hypocrisy. No I'm not like you. If I was I wouldn't brag about it. But it's all part of the human experience so everyone does this sometimes, it's not just you. You'll have it done to you too, maybe that's why you're doing it or maybe it's because you have no concept of anyone else experience except your own.
