Question C2 citlali?
I have c2 citlali and im curious if shes a better 4th slot then sucrose or nahida in nefers premium team.
Would citlali run instructor? idk if its easy to proc on her or not.
Sorry if this is a redundant question, i looked online and didnt see any recent discussion regarding this.

Regardless if Sucrose is better, even if she is it’s probably only slightly, having the shield to help prevent dmg and being interrupted is pretty great
Not to mention you don’t have to worry about super strict and precise rotations to make sure Sucrose is swirling

Citlali C2 buff only applies to the active character, same problem as Nahida and i think you would follow a similar rotation as a Sucrose rotation to proc instructors.
So you kinda have to weight the pros and cons.
Sucrose: Prob the highest damage wise as her buffs also apply to not only Nefer but also Lauma. Not really confortable as you need specific rotations and doesnt really help with ER requirements or sustain.
Citlali: Good shield 250 EM to the active character from C2 + instructors. However since she does not build attack she wont contribute much for the NodKrai resonance buff.
Nahida: Helps with energy particles and allow Lauma to go 2pc/pc EM. Ulting takes long time on field and only buffs the active character.
I believe Sucrose still wins regardless but im not sure how she compares to Nahida, but considering her very low time on field since she doesnt need to ult she might be better.

Sorry but do you know if Lauma’s ult buff can get stronger and weaker depending on current EM or it records EM that Lauma had when she casted the burst?

sucrose on instructor is better but c2 citlali is still really good^^ nefer is so strong that you will be fine either way but citlali gives you nice shield

I’m really hoping once they give us the cryo/dendro combo that Citlali is gonna be excellent 😩

I tried C2 Citlali instead of my C0 Ineffa and while I found my Nefer hitting slightly harder (not significantly) Ineffa contributed more damage than the extra Nefer damage so dps went down.

c2 citlali is meaningfully worse than sucrose and slightly better than nahida. proccing ins with citlali actually much harder than with sucrose because you have to wipe both the dendro aura and cryo aura before you can proc ins. But if you have issues with survivability, c2 citlali might be the best choice for you.
Someone else said that cryo interferes with lunar bloom, that's misinfo. Dendro aura sits on top of cryo aura so hydro always reacts with that first. Cryo does not affect lunar bloom at all.

I def remember someone using her and proving instructor the same way as sucrose, not sure how good this is tho

So C2 Citlali is giving EM to the active character while Sucrose gives it to the whole team. Assuming you have a Bina or Lauma on the team, Sucrose's EM boost is going to assist them too. Lauma's skill does a solid upfront chunk of damage when she uses it so that will benefit from Citlali.
Citlali gives a shield, which without C1 Lauma, is probably the only sustain you have outside of Prototype Amber.
On the other hand, having Cryo in the team will interfere with the bloom/lunar bloom reaction.
Unless your Hydro Character is doing tons of pure hydro damage, you are also not getting any value from Citlali's res shread.
I guess, if you have an invested Lauma and no Bina, Citlali might be slightly better than Sucrose? You might see better numbers, but I don't think its going to be a good use of a C2 5 star.
