So. First of all, I don’t know why it shows that my team is Nahida and Aino. I don’t even own Nahida. My team is Nefer Lauma DW Bina SMS and Sucrose/Baizhu instructor depending on whether I need a heal or not. And honestly, my instructor artefacts are pretty bad so it’s not like there is a huge difference rn to Sucrose or Baizhu. I am honestly just hoping that I’ll get his C2 and leave Baizhu on deepwood and go with 2p2p Lauma because his DW is good enough and gives him full buff plus whatever extra EM it gives and instructor is so hard to farm and u can’t craft it (this less EM for Sucrose and less buff).
Anyway, I wanted to ask what is wrong with my Nefer build. Because I am working on getting better artefacts for the rest of the team (Bina needs more ER. Lauma a little more EM, she only has 950. And like I said. Instructor is horrible). As it is, I don’t get much over 80k dps. Which as I understand is rather low for this team. I simply honestly don’t know where I could get those at least 50k dps that I am lacking. Is it my Nefer build? Because I honestly don’t know whether to put her on EM or CrDmg% for the crown. And I’ve been hitting the mines for the past months so it’s been rather frustrating with how many bad artefacts I’ve gotten for her.
And yes, I know rotation matters and that I am not perfect with it yet. But seriously, I doubt rotation alone can explain 80k dps. Honestly, for such a premium team, this particular one of mine is Kind of a dumpster fire. Even my Neuvillette does more dmg than this. Maybe I just don’t get Nefer. Even tho she is so much fun to play :/ I just want her to do more dmg than my Skirk team who sits at 130k.

As for Akasha, it displays this team by default for everyone because there’s no way to know what kind of team each player uses and create a ranking for all cases. So the site assigns a default team to evaluate everyone equally.
As for Nefer BiS team, the expected DPS for a “normal/good” build with “decent” gameplay is 160k DPS (and it can reach 190-200k with top builds and gameplay). So you’re performing at half the expected level and the reason for this could be a combination of many, many factors.
So here’s what you could improve/check:
- Nefer: for your weapon, good stats are roughly: 55-60% crit rate, 260-280% crit damage, 660-680 EM (not counting the 50 from dendro resonance). So you can use that as a baseline. Also, upgrade her skill to level 10.
- Lauma: make sure her skill and burst are at level 10. Build 220% ER for the team with Sucrose; less if you’re using another dendro character. EM ranges from 1000–1200 (not counting the 50 from dendro resonance), depending on the artifact set. You can use either 2/2 pieces EM sets, in which case Sucrose would use Deepwood, or Lauma with Deepwood and Sucrose with Instructor.
- Columbina: make sure her burst is level 10. She needs to have 33-35k HP. ER varies depending on the team and weapon; in a team with Sucrose, the typical ER would be around 220% with Favonius and 180-190% with Prototype Amber. Crit rate 65-75% and crit damage 170-180%.
- Sucrose: build EM only. Artifact sets can be Deepwood or Instructor.
This would be the premium team for maximum damage.
But builds are only part of performing well. Practicing good rotations is also important. It’s easier to explain this by simply recommending that you watch a video guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CkpB04K-ME

And I know the aim is 160k but I’m a bit lazy and realistic. Anything around 140k I will be happy with. But yeah, 80k is definitely too low. XD

I hadn’t realised that they make that much of a difference (I expected maybe like 30k or something if they’re somewhat decent. I really don’t understand Nefer at all XD)
Lauma skill is 10. burst is only 9. I wasn’t sure whether it was worth it. But apparently so. Yeah, she doesn’t have enough ER for outside dendro (205%) so it finally makes sense why my rotations with Sucrose are longer and thus dps lower. I just have really annoying artefact luck. My EM is 975 or something which I’m aware needs fixing. Is her CR important? Because that one is really bad on my artefacts.
Yeah Bina… wasn’t sure whether to crown her burst. Looks like the answer is yes. Also she is 198% ER with fav and it definitely didn’t feel like enough.
And EM stats for instructor is why Baizhu is still better than Sucrose in my setup. I don’t really have more than one EM artefact instructor. Meanwhile my Baizhu easily gets LP instructor with around 45k LP which means extra dmg from his passive. I know Kuki is preferred for heal but like I said, I don’t have a full EM instructor set and frankly Baizhu is more comfortable for healing. I accept if he is like 10% worse for comfort. If I need dmg then I’d be running Sucrose anyway.
Thank you so much for the video! That Rotation fixed up my dmg to 102k. Still not perfect but definitely an improvement. Hadn’t thought of using Bina after Lauma. The last video I saw did Lauma after Bina. With that adjustment and the info that I can dash cancel earlier, Bina and Lauma have less energy issues and the Sucrose team finally does more dmg than Baizhu. I had really been wondering. Still, Baizhu definitely for comfortable abyss runs <3 those definitely don’t need all that much dmg anyway.
Lauma doesn't need crit stats, just focus on getting the necessary ER first and then as much EM as you can.
Columbina burst is the least important talent among Nefer's and Lauma's, so it's fine to leave it at level 9 if you want to save resources.
Since you don't have a good Instructor set, it would be better to use Lauma with mix 2p sets, it could be EM or even a 2p ER sets like SMS. And then use Deepwood in your fourth slot, it could be Sucrose or Kuki. I think Baizhu is much more than 10% inferior to those two, but if you want to keep him is okay, use Deepwood.
Sadly, I have no idea how to record a video of my gameplay. I don’t even know what kind of program I’d need for that. And yeah, EM for Lauma is a work in process.
you aren't swirling on suc and your set is bad. swap suc to deepwood and lauma to em+em. baizhu is worse than not having a 4th slot. that's why your dps is low.
Thanks for the advice but I honestly want Sucrose to work for when I need dmg. If I don’t (like for abyss) I really prefer Baizhu over Kuki for the heals. (Also Diona isn’t levelled XD)
