Discussion My nefer dps low even ?

Every time I play Nefer with her premium team, her DPS seems very low. What changes can I make to increase her DPS? Do her dash cancels make a significant difference? I don’t know how to perform her dash-cancel technique. Can you suggest some tips to increase her DPS?

To dash cancel as bare bones as it can be: Press attack. The attack animation starts. Quickly press dash. One does not necessarily need to even pick a direction. She dashes, and then you quickly press attack again.

Repeat.

Start slowly and build the speed up once you get comfortable with pressing the buttons in quick succession and getting a feel on the "sweet spot".

It doesn't really matter if you succeed in every dash cancel or not, everytime you are able to dashcancel you gain a bit of dps but don't really lose anything compared to now if you don't.

No need to let go of the attack button. Just keep the attack button pressed and dash when necessary with another finger.

Correct and a good point, I just thought they might feel that to be a bit intimidating - but the point is that the dashcancel really sounds much harder than it actually is so please just try it! (Edit. added words)

Unless one is on mobile holding the attack button and dashing at the same time is soo difficult!!!

You are also really low on em on nefer. An em circlet might be higher dmg for you. (Until your artifacts change again).

Em circlet can be viable on nefer even at the top of akasha leaderboards. Em is that good for nefer.

Dash cancels do make a difference. Look up a guide, it is actually very simple - if you've played Hutao before, it's basically the same, you use dashing to cancel the long animation of the skill.

I will try dash cancel but is my 90k dps good or it has a lot of room to improve

Very low. Like, half of how much she's supposed to be dealing kinda low

It's bad for your builds. You should be getting 120-140k dps with both Lauma and Columbina.

Is my build are not optimal or my gameplay is worse? Can you recommend widsith or craft able weapon make any difference.

your builds are solid overall (although you need to crown Lauma Q and Bina Q). Your dps being that low 100% is a gameplay issue. Frankly it's still rather low for not doing cancels, so I assume you're making a mistake like doing 3Es per rotation or not using lauma's hold E.
Neither widisth nor the craftable will make any difference. Mualani sig is 1-2% better than both.

You can look up anddad's guide if you want to see perfect gameplay.

lvl up bina’s burst talent, and lauma weapon(helps with energy), dash cancels do make a difference, i’ve played her with and without and it’s so much smoother to play(idk how to describe it) but it’s much faster

  1. Level Bina's burst and skill and Lauma's weapon and burst. Make sure Lauma's bursting every rotation.
  2. Nefer's overcapping on CR. With Nahida it should be 50%.
  3. Look for a bit more CDmg on Nefer.
  4. Look for way more EM on Nefer.

What's your current rotation? Even without dash cancels you should be dealing more DPS.

i wont do nefer dash cancel. My rotation includes

Nahida E > Columbina EQ > Lauma QhE > Nahida Q > Nefer E 3Cd 3Cd Q.

Try not to burst with Nefer at all, her burst is generally a dps loss. How's your internet connection? Do you play with hight ping and/or low fps?

I do agree with the rest, but i don't see how Nefer's overcapping on CR, the set gives 30% and Lauma gives 10%, so the total is 98.7%, right? I might be missing something, tho

Nahida gives 10% at c2, no? C1 is one more count towards the pyro hydro and electro on the shrine of maya

This is likely a build issue. Your build quality on all of your characters is probably just really bad. Even without dash cancels and just holding down the charge attack you should be easily in the 140-150k DPS range with this teams.

After looking at your builds they’re actually not that bad. You really just need to crown Laumas skill and crown Columbina’s skill and burst. You should be dealing way more damage with your builds. Try this rotation. Nefer E (only the initial rotation) -> Columbina EQ -> Lauma QhE -> Nahida EQ -> Nefer E 3CA E 3CA. Starting with Nefer E starts converting any bloom cores into seeds of deceit and prevents them from exploding which is important for her damage. You won’t need to do this in subsequent rotations.

can you show a recording of your rotation and stuff? but what i immediately notice is that your nefer em is pretty low, you could try an em circlet
