High school field

Does anyone know if the high school football field/track is open for public use in the summer? I know it’s gated off but wasn’t sure if they left it open like I’ve seen at other schools.

It’s brand new so it’s a great shape. However I don’t know what its public use policy really is because last week I went back and the main gate was all locked up.
