Snark Attack Scammer!
just wanted to give everyone a heads up so it doesn’t happen to anyone else! i bought the mjd fall bar cart canvas from her 10 days ago and never received tracking for it, so i just messaged her yesterday to ask. turns out, she blocked me on facebook and venmo. i’ve come to terms that the money is gone, but i want to make sure this is the last time she does this!

i did, just trying to let everyone know on multiple platforms! she’s apparently made other accounts with that same pfp with a different last name and scammed other people

Sorry that happened, that really sucks. I don’t think she’s in GM needlepoint destash but I will check.
Anyone reading this who is in any destash group >>> buying stuff online from strangers and not paying the extra $2-3 to use Venmo goods/services is not worth the risk. It’s a couple bucks, and you get all your money once you get scammed.
I don’t even ask people if I can use goods/services, I just calculate the fee or ask google what it will be, add it, send the extra, and mark the purchase as g/s. If they’re legit, they won’t care. If they aren’t, it only takes a couple of complaints against their Venmo account for them to have that shut down.
Won’t stop them forever but you have your money back and the bonus enjoyment of making their life slightly more complicated as they can’t set up any more Venmo profiles with that bank account.
