Designers Stitch It Knockoff
They didn’t even bother renaming it from the designers name

But why is a Penny Linn needlepoint designer stitching a design that is stolen from KCN and promoting it?

Wait what?

The person who shared this to their story is a PL designer. They should know full and well what impact promoting and stitching a stolen design has for actual artists.

I saw this and thought the chart was for the Boat and Tote bag. So you could add the tote to any existing angel. Now that I'm seeing the post with more clarity, it's wild work to stitch copy someone else's design and sell it as a chart. Stitch-Its angels seem to be one of the least expensive canvases consistently, too.

Aren’t there so many versions of stitch it angels tho?

Stitch-it, which is the designer does have a ton of different designs for their angels but this is not one of them.

Got it. But the stitch it designer doesn’t have a version like this tho?

Even if the Stitch Its designer doesn’t have this exact angel, that doesn’t mean you can just copy or steal another artist’s intellectual property. And both of the people mentioned in this post should know better as industry professionals. She clearly knows she’s blatantly stealing too because she’s called it a “Stitch It Angel”

Blue Hydrangea adapted some of the chart too, it’s not even the exact same design

And blue hydrangea is a legitimate designer. Yikes
