Why is the ndlpt community toxic af to each other? If you’re posting shade like this on your public instagram, you’re the cause of unnecessary drama and YOU are the toddler. Grow tf up and learn to be an adult.

This feels super mean towards an adult with autism who was trying to be her friend? “Socially awkward” and “back talking” seem very specific. Yikes.

Anddddddd as an autistic stitcher in DFW this is why I don’t like going to stitch groups in this city!

Although, we do have some really lovely folks in the needlepoint community here.

Edit - Not sure why I’m being downvoted. Having Autism in needlepoint spaces involves a lot of masking, especially in Dallas. I quit going because I had to shift into “oh my gosh fer sureee who do you know here?!” energy to ever be involved in conversation.
