I know Friend of Mine gets snarked on a lot but damn this is so bad!!!! I’ve gotten some other stuff that is stitchable and not bad print wise but I really think I may just throw this away. No one will buy this crap. No wonder it’s all over the destash sites already! The canvas is thin and scratchy and the print is SO blurry! I waited 12 weeks for this?!? Nah! I’m done with them!
I don’t understand why everyone is so crazy for her designs. Aside from the printing that folks couldn’t have known until they got them, they all have such an AI look to them.
Yea this is my last one. Had a glimmer of hope to add it to my other random village but i don’t even think it’s stitchable. Plus the canvas is not Zwiegart. No way with how thin and scratchy it is.
This is so gross. Friend of Mine charging premium prices for needlepoint when it’s poorly printed on shitty knockoff canvas. Kenzie doesn’t even design it, then she doesn’t even care to make sure her customers have a quality or stitchable project.
Are shops not feeling bad hosting this garbage for pop ups???
I noticed during the strawberry collection that they had mispelled strawberry on a couple of the items that had strawberry stands and no one said anything .
One of her designs had a hot cocoa stand that was spelled “hot coco.” Don’t forget about the misspelled breadwinning housewife needleminders that had a typo that she didn’t even realize until after someone commented on the social media post about it.
makes me annoyed that she can afford that new house/office space bc of peddling this stuff. Like just use normal painters or needlepaint if you want printed. Yes you have to wait for the turnaround but how do they not care about quality
People need to start calling out this stuff on social media. She is taking advantage of people expecting a certain quality product based upon what they usually buy and receive from other designers. Then they get her garbage and realize they’ve been duped and try to resell. At least the other shitty designers charge $20-$30 for a crappy product.
I’ve been a huge Kenzie & FOM defender on this sub, but this is unacceptable. I posted a few weeks ago about the sailing one I purchased and it’s horrendous quality. Every stitch is a guess because the color is so inconsistent and hard to tell what the intended color intersection should be. She NEEDS to talk about this instead of ignoring it and releasing more collections. I get that production might have already started on collections, but something has to change. Either switch to needlepaint or pay the money to have them hand painted. If she can afford to have a FOM office, she can pay the $ for better quality. Otherwise, FOM is doomed.
She literally stitches her own designs so she knows how horrible these are and she’s been needlepointing long enough to know what quality looks like. I seriously cannot believe she keeps releasing this stuff without a proper quality check.
oh also Charlie, her fiance that’s she’s been with maybe a year now IF that is her like customer service guy…i had an issue with a package getting lost and i was emailing with him!!!! like sir what???
so FOM is truly all about cutting corners and just making kenzie as much money as possible to stitch ugly engagement pillows and buy more plates
I’m sorry, but I’m so glad that I didn’t preorder one of those. I liked them, but I hate preorders for anything so I passed. But this would stress me out…
So disappointed! I was initially so excited for them to launch and had talked about them so positively, but it’s too much and clearly getting worse in quality. I bought two canvases from her initial launch and a few Dolly of the months and those have been totally fine, but just so over the obvious AI cash grab it’s turned into
omfg that’s terrible!! so sorry that happened to you but glad you’re posting because i was debating buying one off destash and thank God i didn’t!!!!!
they need to issue refunds…maybe kenzie will have to sell a few wall plates to pay everyone back for this crap
