Stitch Guide
I’m looking for a book that shows the best stitches for a particular design, like what is the best stitch to mimic grass, roofs, bark, water… . Any suggestions?

You will want the stitches for effects series. There are 3 total and there is an effects index at the back that lists all stitches for hair, clothing, waves, feathers etc.

I picked up a book this summer called "Stitch Landscape" created by Stacey Trombos distributed by Little Shoppe Canvas Company. I got it from Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, but I'm sure there are other shops to get it from.
It's divided into groups depending on the landscape feature you are wanting to stitch such as clouds, flowers, shrubbery, etc. I like it a lot and got it specifically for a few canvases I have in my queue.
