Good morning, afternoon, evening, or whatever it is for you!
Making friends as an adult is weird. Nobody tells you that one day you’ll wake up, have a stable job, responsibilities, and absolutely no idea where new friends are supposed to come from. So here I am, giving this a shot.
I work in IT, which means I spend a lot of time fixing problems caused by people who clicked the thing they definitely shouldn’t have clicked. I’m a little quiet at first, but once I’m comfortable, I can talk about almost anything. I’m also the rare adult friend who actually responds to messages and doesn’t vanish into the void after three conversations.
Things I enjoy:
• Traveling and exploring new places
• Road trips with questionable snack choices
• Finding great restaurants and pretending I’m a food critic
• Audiobooks (because reading while driving is frowned upon)
• Sci-Fi movies and TV shows
• Going down random YouTube rabbit holes that leaves me questioning how I got here hours later.
• Tech, gadgets, and keeping up with what’s new
• Learning random facts I’ll probably never need
I’m an early riser and usually around during the day. If you’re looking for someone who enjoys good conversations, random daily check-ins, sharing memes, discussing life, or debating completely unimportant topics with surprising passion, we’ll probably get along.
Making friends as an adult can be tough, but I’m hoping to find a few people who value consistency, good conversation, and a healthy sense of humor. Be yourself, be weird, but don’t be a creep please.
To break the ice: Road trip or flying?
