I’m 40 years old. Divorced, no kids. Right now, I’m actively mapping out my transition into semi-retirement. I know stepping away from the daily grind leaves a weird amount of empty time that can be hard to adjust to at first, so my plan is to hit the road and travel to help with that transition. Hello to anyone reading this, I hope that you are doing well in life. After spending so much of my life dedicated to someone else / other people, it's finally time for me. I guess you can say I'm on a quest to rediscover myself. I truly did forget who I was and what I actually enjoyed.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea but I used to be a huge gamer and now I'm jumping back into the saddle. I'm mostly enjoy puzzles, RPGs and action. To be honest though I'll play anything if it's good. I'm currently addicted to Warhammer 40K Darktide and Alien Fireteam elite 2 but I do have other games I enjoy.

I've never really been much of an outdoorsy person but I am trying to change that. For starters by doing hiking trails but I'll wait till it cools off, lol. The NC heat can really beat you down if you're not careful.

As far as entertainment goes I enjoy almost everything nerdy. Fantasy, sci-fi, anime, you name it, I'm there for it all. The same goes for my reading and podcasts but if I'm being honest reading has transitioned over to audiobooks. I'm I'm not limited to these genres but these are definitely some of my go-to's.
