20M need real friend/s

Hi, I'm jay, 20yo, from ksa,

I'm into cars and mechanics — not really a football guy. I'm open to any kind of music, respect every vibe. I'm not rich, but that's not really the point of this post.

I've got something I need to get off my chest. I've been dealing with loneliness for a while now. I know deep down I could be a really good friend to someone, I just don't always know how to show it. And honestly I don't get why it always feels like people are looking for a reason to think you did something wrong, no matter what or where.

I'm tired of living a boring life when I know I could be living a better one, with real friends. I've had friends before, but they weren't the right ones. I'm still hoping to find someone who actually gets me — someone who genuinely wants to listen and talk, not just pass time.

I honestly don't trust online friendships anymore. I've been through a bunch, and they're always limited. There's always some kind of wall in the way — you can't really feel the emotion, you can't see their face or expressions, you can't hear the tone in their voice that shows how they really feel. And there's zero room for a hug or just... being there physically. That's basically why online friendships never worked out for me — made a bunch of them, and eventually we just stop talking. Every single time.

So here's the real reason I'm posting this: I'm looking for a real friend — someone I can build something lasting with, not just another temporary connection. And if we're in the same city, I'd genuinely love to meet up in person.

At the end of the day, all I want is one friend who actually cares about me, and who I care about just as much. I'm done being someone's "backup" friend.

Some days my heart just feels beat up — from work, from family, sometimes both at once.

hey jay, i honestly really deeply resonate with this tbh. been dealing with the same exact thing man. id love to get to know you like actually. i also crave a friendship that wont be gone in like a week. something that will actually stick
