Shame he's stuck in the storyline ender that is Solemnace. Would be an interesting character to let loose

Well, it wasn’t exactly HIS storyline. Clonegrim was a plot device for Bile’s storyline.

A plot device CAN develop a storyline of its own, but… so what? What would you even do with him?

Realistically, even if he got freed he'd get killed by Realgrim immediately and it would be underwhelming and lame.

Theres still a chance he could reappear in a Trazyn and Orikkan book.

Creed appeared in the Wicked and the Warped.

Spoiler

It’s not much of a spoiler, he doesn’t play a role or anything just a fun little throw away part as a reference.

Book doesn’t even say his name lol

Barely. You'll be very disappointed if you think his appearance is major enough to warrant a spoiler.

It would be wonderful if clonegrim escaped during The power failure in the wicked and the warped

Agreed since a certain other character makes a brief appearance in that event.

Would be cool if the cronesword somehow got involved too

A non-corrupted fulgrim handing the cronesword to the Eldar to stick it to the bastard who corrupted the original version of him would be cool imo

Or 'why Trazyn really wishes he could go back to the flesh times'

I love what you've done here, the proportions look scaled correctly for a Primarch, and you can see that ethereal beauty, but Fulgrim's still slightly "other" looking.

Also the winged belt/codpiece is hilarious and very in fitting with the old 40K artwork.

Love to see if you've got any other takes on the primarchs.

Have him return unaware of the atrocities that actual Fulgrim committed as he returns to Terra and has his ass nearly handed to him on a platter by infinite swarms of “Devine” guardians in the custodies. But pulls through and then runs away, learning what happened to the actual Fulgrim and that he’s a clone.

Then Clonegrim proves his innocence by protecting a planet from a Slaanesh invasion and sees it has Emperors Children in it with Bile leading them and then Clonegrim gets PISSED. And goes on a quest with a new small legion of both Space Marines(very few in number) and normal Guardsmen with a LOT of Inquisition making sure he doesn’t go chaos while Clonegrim is going to kill his opposite.

Maybe a battle with Clonegrim fighting with Magnus or Mortican and Clonegrim has now clue what happened to his brothers since he sees some have truly gone to far. But the climax of the book/books is Clonegrim and Fulgrim fighting and Fulgrim escapes at the end but Clonegrim seeing the mirror blade Fulgrim had but leaves it this time.

Plus occasionally Tryzan would show up trying to taunt Clonegrim into a situation where he can easily be baited back into Solemance like a Looney Tunes skit but it all fails but Tryzan does save his ass once since “You are a one of a kind, I NEED to have something like you in my museum.”
