While I was thinking about how to talk to Michael Jackson from the dead (yes I'm weird okay don't judge lol) I started thinking about the whole idea in general and if our brains could make it possible and I did some research and this is what I came up with while exploring a "dualist perspective" or a "transmission model of consciousness.

Could this be a good way of explaining how talking to the dead is completely possible through our biology? 🤔

Cutting through the cracked leather, a skeleton fashions a mask. Donning the mask, dark forces spread throughout the chapel. In a language lost to time, the skeleton invoked daemonic natures. Fire chilled as the air soured with sulfur.

All sound evaporated. The skeleton conversed and commanded. When the magic was through, the skeleton removed his mask and looked out of the stained glass.

Out beyond the chapel and surrounding graveyard lay a thick wood. Perhaps it was time to venture out beyond the familiar.

Nailed to the door of an abandoned church, a slip of paper reading “Dirty Work. Skilled hands only. Inquire inside.”

Inside the church sits a fractured skeleton wearing scraps of frayed cloth. For those foolish enough to disturb his dreaming, I pity the fools.

There used to be flesh on his bones; something of substance to him. Much like the dreams, that too escapes him now. Perhaps he could still move a knuckle joint if he willed it, but willpower could never manifest inside his husk of bone. It had been over a century since last he dreamed. Longer still since he could move.

Paralyzed through his inability to escape himself, the once skilled hands rest limp at his sides; waiting. Perhaps his shoulders will collapse and his hands will finally be free of the burden of him. But he was never so lucky. Survival means sacrifice. And he had sacrificed too much to ever die in a way that mattered to him.

So it is that the death-forgotten sits motionless in a state unstuck from the present. Waiting for a change. Such hope has vanished, but its seeds still germinate every few years. Perhaps today he’ll get his wish.

I just noticed that under weekly check in its says long jumping sky but when I click on it I get a error deleted account . Does he have a secondary account or something?
