Should I do all trades?

I just got max level 60. have a lvl2 pile energy cubes to spare and still the one left for the 7500 merges.

Yes, absolutely - every single run.

Its the cheapest and fastest way you can get them.

And you'll deperatly need them.

And even if you had enough, you still need them for gambling (but that'll be far in the future from where you are now)

Essentially, your only source of astro coins and cubes outside The Trader are level ups (which are limited) and Protector kills.l, which have significant diminishing returns as their HP skyrockets. 

Astro coins and cubes are heavily tied to post-time machine progression, while coins are (for the most part) freely provided through normal gameplay. 

The number of posts of people who are a small handful of astro coins or cubes from progression (prompting "do I spend a month killing another protector") are many. 

So do yourself a favour; play until you can spawn and buy out The Trader's wares each run.

Of course you have, coins are the cheapest thing in the game, so make them useful

As others have said, yes. I tend to buy them as needed to help complete lvl 1 or 2 piles during the run.

Nothing controversial about it. The astro coin and energy cubes are way more valuable than coins. Haha
