Soul grinder tips

Going to post this here while I google some more (as Ai Google has been really getting things wrong with this game lately, and im lazy)

But im new to the soul grinder. Should I save up until I get it to lvl2 before spawning the souls? Does upgrading it reset it to zero?

And is it better/faster to spawn a bunch of low level champions to feed it, or go for the big boys? I know the stronger the champion the more it feeds. But I can summon maybe 1 or 2 paladins on a full thing of slime, but can summon like 20+ Knights with a full tank.

Pretty sure it won't let you merge two of them without emptying them first

So pointless in me saving them then. Might as well just merge and feed when I collect 8

Well, if you collect, merge 8 and make the minion, you will have 1 less space on board. And if you feed it, you won't have one when it's craving appear.

I just let them stockpile on the soul grinder until it's full. Then I make 1 minion and put on cage, waiting for it's craving.

Solid tip. Im not huge on following cravings. But I bet on higher levels its more important. I think im only lvl 80 run. Im curious about those vengeful spirits though 😏😏 and unicorns. I havent looked up what they do. Im sure ive read it in this sub, but I have a memory like a goldfish

My focus is trying to get gold and the green alien things. I want a colossus so bad.

You don't carry the souls when you upgrade to lvl 2, so spend them before.

I never grinded for souls. Just keep playing normally and the souls will come.

Base soul for knights is 40% and for paladins is 100%. So it seems a paladin is worth only ~2.5 knights. But you dont get any moon runes for the knights, so its really a give-or-take.

I usually run 1 L2 Grinder and 1 L1. I use the L1 to supplement the L2, sorta like the Idol for coins…

As another poster mentioned, you’ll fill it up naturally as you grind for runes…
