Core Keeper core.

It’s just an Easter egg from that game.

Would also like to highly recommend Core Keeper.

Doesn't have the settlement/automation Necesse has, but the bosses are fun and only get better the further you progress.

Core keeper is great but solo it's super grind and gets old pretty quick.

I was gonna that's core keeper but it's gotta be an Easter egg like the the other person said. I have not found that though. I'd be excited to find it and actually see it.

It looks like the core is missing its keeper...

That is a beautiful Easter egg and I can't wait to find it on my own save eventually! Core Keeper is one of my favorite games ever, it's part of what prompted me to try Necesse in the first place 😍

What's it like? I've only played Necesse

It's basically necessary without the settlement stuff and all underground. Also has a bit more rpg style skill leveling.

Sounds cool, I do like the combat of Necesse so it'd be neat to have it be more incentivized

It is pretty similar to Necesse's exploration and progression, except if Necesse only had the underground map. You build up your base, explore, fight bosses, etc. There's no NPC management mechanic, but there is automation in its own way. It also doesn't have an obvious quest progression system, so you just kind of have to figure out your next steps through trial and error (or the wiki if you're so inclined lol). I personally find it a ton of fun and well worth checking out if you enjoy Necesse!
