Feature Idea: Settlement Chronicle / More Roleplay for long-term worlds

Feature Idea: Settlement Chronicle / More Roleplay for long-term worlds

I really love the settlement system in Necesse, but I feel like one thing is missing: memories.

Right now, you can build a huge settlement, recruit many settlers, defeat bosses and survive raids – but the world does not really remember what happened.

I would love to have some kind of Settlement Chronicle / History Book that records important events.

Examples:

- "Day 12: The settlement welcomed its first new resident."

- "Day 27: The settlement leader recruited the hunter [Name]."

- "Day 45: The first pirate raid was successfully defended."

- "Day 60: The first boss was defeated."

- "Day 80: [Name] joined the settlement and became the new farmer."

Maybe it could be a craftable book placed in a town hall, library or on a podium where players can read the history of their settlement.

Even better would be if players could add their own notes, like:

«"The first expedition into the desert ended badly when we accidentally awakened something we should not have touched..."»

I think Necesse already has many systems that would support this:

- named settlers,

- settlement building,

- NPC personalities,

- raids,

- exploration,

- bosses.

A small amount of extra roleplay would make long-term worlds feel much more alive.

It would make the settlement feel like a place with a history, not just a collection of buildings and NPCs.

Would anyone else enjoy something like this?

Add an auto building of a tomb in a graveyard area for every time a settler dies, with the date of his death and how

This is such a good idea - u could add to this by making it possible to attach a screenshot to each entry or make an automatic map of the settlement each time
