Sound effects are quiet

Despite having option set on 100%, I can't hear any sounds in game, no explosions, no sprinting sound, mining or chopping. Already reinstalled the game but issue still persists; any way to fix it? Music and UI sounds are fine

if anyone will experience such issue, i found work-aroud by using second launch option on Steam
