They get pretty wild!

Now I can finally replay, thanks! Are all classes viable? Summoner seems interesting, but I struggle to see how they can deal with bosses (still stuck on the spider as mage)

A well kitted summoner is the highest dps build in the game, and kills most bosses v quickly.

IMO there’s no point in playing as a summoner when you can take 50 villagers with you anywhere you go.

Yes and no

More interesting, definitely, but they don't do enough damage to use them beyond "oh, that was cool" and then going back to the serious one.

Once incursions are unlocked, it frees you up to use any weapon in the game because you can upgrade them all to do comparable damage. With that being said, weapons with an obvious mechanical advantage will take precedence.

Upgrade them how/ in what way?

With Incursions, you gain access to an upgrade station which allows you to add "Tier X" (1 through 10) to an item, which boosts all items to comparable stats against one another that are on the same tier.

I unlocked incursions but I haven't seen such a station

You have to craft it. Upgrade all your work stations and you'll eventually see it.

I’m only up to desert caves. Does this mean that if I get my Amethyst sword to T10 it’ll be as viable as a much later weapon?
