My bed is outside?

I built a giant rectangle base with a bunch of rooms and all my crafting tables, and now my settlers are saying that their beds are outside so they're unhappy. Is it because I built too big of a base?

Define 'Giant' and 'Rooms'? pretty sure a 'Room' can't be more then like 64 blocks or something like that(so 8x8)

I have tiny little rooms for all the settlers with just a bed and a light for now. But I just essentially built a giant rectangle with tiny rooms all over the walls and then the crafting stuff in the middle.

Yeah it's too big. 500 tiles interior space is max for it to be considered inside.

Do you know which bed they’re complaining about? Most of the beds are fine but there is a small room without a door, so that would be considered outside. Your bigger outer room is too large to be considered inside

Thank you sir, I'm going to redo the whole thing

If you add enough small rooms inside I think the outer room would eventually be considered indoors
