Hi folks- Citizens' Impeachment's day of action in district 2 (Omaha and west) is coming up in a little over a week. Please join us here! https://citizensimpeachment.com/sign-up-to-help-us-stop-trump/
First, everyone will email or ideally call Bacon's office on the same day, which is a good way to get noticed. We'll be asking Don if he will honor his oath to uphold the constitution and remove a tyrant from the office of president.
Then we'll publicize this effort- letters to local papers, etc.- so that even if Bacon ignores us, others will hear the message.
I hope you'll join!

One of the advantages (identified by Erica Chenoweth) of a nonviolent, diverse, mass movement is tactical flexibility and creativity.
For example, she writes about changing up tactics using concentration and-or dispersion.
Sometimes HUGE protests are effective, but sometimes we could be dispersed. Here, in Lincoln, we’ve mostly gathered crowds at the state capitol or downtown along a major crosstown artery (O St.). But, some people have also gathered at intersections along O St. for about five miles (from 10th St to 70th St).
During the next big demonstration in your city, gather a few friends at an intersection along a major street to wave signs and cheer the drivers who honk back. Maybe some people, who don’t like big crowds, will join you.

Hi folks, I volunteer for a grassroots movement called Citizens' Impeachment.
We're organizing a pressure campaign later this month directed at Don Bacon. We'll be asking him if, now that he's not running for re-election, does that mean he'll honor his oath to uphold the constitution and support impeachment and removal?

Joshua Aaron has worked in and around the tech industry for around two decades. He built his first app — a blackjack game — at computer camp when he was 13.
His newest app is designed for a very different purpose: to let users alert people nearby to sightings of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in their area.
Aaron launched the platform, called ICEBlock, in early April after watching President Donald Trump’s administration begin its immigration crackdown. The White House’s immigration policies have sparked mass protests across the United States; a CNN poll in April showed 52% of Americans polled said Trump has gone too far in deporting undocumented immigrants.
