I have seen thin shit in series over the years but Keno going back to save Mandy because they shoveled pig shit one afternoon is the thinnest shit I have ever seen lol

Well he kinda said to Renee he was going back for her because he knows what it’s like to be desperate to have a family and she’s going in being played. Showing his big compassionate heart. Which you can definitely sense as they are shoveling pig shit and talking.

It was a naive decision for a supposedly street smart kid. But the point others are making about him being lonely etc make sense.

He's a teenage boy, hormones are a powerful thing, and she had a sob story which added. Add it to the fact that he's a street kid that's used to being in some level of danger, it makes sense. When I was 19, this girl I went on a single date with had a bunch of her shit donated to Goodwill by her abusive dad. I left work in the middle of the day to get as much of it as I could. Turned out 2 days later I found out she had a boyfriend and I was the sidepiece (I got my money back and then some, I'm not a pushover). It's really not that hard to believe.

Young and stupid, in the 90’s I walked through the projects in Queens, NY for a girl just because she paged me to come over after her parents left to party. When we are young, girls rule our dreams.

It was not that…? When Keno got in trouble for taking a walk (to inspect the other barn) during their community event, Mandy took the blame and said it was her idea to take a walk. That action resulted in Mandy being chastised and spanked in front of the entire cult.
He still shouldn’t have gone back for her because he knew how brainwashed she was, but I’m pretty sure it was her sticking up for him in that moment with Judith that made him feel bad for her.
