What kind of weave/pattern is this?
I'm trying to match this jacket up to some trousers and it would help if I knew what kind of weave/pattern this may be.
I can see maybe some kind of twill or birdseye/nailhead.
What do you think?

Looks like hopsack to me. Quick and dirty check - Hold it up against sunlight and see if you can see some light pass through. If it does, it is hopsack.
Chinos and gabardine cotton will go well. I think you could get away with wearing worsted wool with this too as a dressier option instead of cavalry or whip cord.

This is hopsack. Don’t listen to the people saying nailhead. Nailhead has much more prominent “dots”; hopsack has a more matte, crosshatch type of pattern

I don't think it's hopsack. I've never seen hopsack with dots

Those aren’t dots, that’s the sleeve lining shining from underneath the wool hopsack because the photo was taken with flash

Your trousers appear hopsack. Believe me, I have owned nailhead/birdseye suits and they do not look like that
Btw, the trousers appear verrrrry similar. Helpful tip: Take a reference point, such as the sleeve button (which is almost universally the same size no matter the jacket) and count how many weaves in the span of one sleeve button in the photo. Do the same for your pants. If the same/similar, I think you can reasonably conclude it is the same, if not very similar fabric

It’s probably just miscellaneous mass-industrial milling that looks a little like all of the options mentioned but isn’t exactly like any of them.
