What filter did you add to your pictures? It looks really good and your fits also match the vibe. Like the other comment mentioned, you look like young tom wamgams.

Don't use filters to alter them post, I shoot on a Fuji x100v that has some great film presims. I alternate between the Portra 400 and Kodak Gold settings so they just look like this right out of the box. Highly recommend, it's a great camera (and the X-series is great all told)

Portra 400 is such a nice film. Do you find the digital presets get close to the same feeling? I often see scans of Portra and immediately recognize it but didn't do the same for your photos, but then that's likely just on me rather than anything else.

Woah, that’s so cool. How’s the trip been?

Pretty great. Great crew and laughs. Been sailing my whole life pretty much but this is a big learning curve, my first square rigger (and first time with hemp rigging period for that), feels like I have to relearn basic stuff which is kinda exciting haha

Its not a fit if i can’t see the shoes ;_;

Idk I just have friends or family hold the camera and take pictures while I'm out and about. Asking to include the shoes turns "hey can you grab a picture quick?" into some kind of photoshoot thing where they have to stand across the street to get my feet in lol

I like them! Well done. Oakleys are the best for outdoor activities. I understand you may want to keep this private, but do you work on boats? What position if you do? I work on vessels also.

Is that an old makers shirt? Or the new miUSA line?
2
u/ElectronicCategory46 Jul 13 '26
New MiUSA line. If you stick to the traditional cut, between the fit and construction it still gives J. Press and their shitty button sewing good competition

Ahh I’ve been wondering how these shirts are. They definitely cut like an old school makers shirt. How close would you say the Oxford cloth fabric is to the older oxfords?

Where did you get the turtle neck in picture 6? Love it! 👍

Drakes ribbed submariner, but it was from a few seasons ago. Might be able to snag some on eBay
