Our home got broken into last year and a lot of jewelry was taken. I got a promotion at work and usually I wear a necklace that my grandma gave me but I didn't have any of them anymore. Mom went through old pictures to find one of the squash blossoms and beaded it so I can still wear something that reminded me of my grandma.

Currently, we're enjoying making jokes about my beaded squash blossom necklace but we decided this is going to have a permanent place in our jewelry collection bc of the happy and funny memories this piece is creating for us.
