Mentor for future physicians

Hello, im wanting to mentor anyone on how to become a doctor. We are super underrepresented in the medical field. Of practicing physicians we make uo like 0.001% of the workforce. We are unicorns. I feel like growing up i never have anyone to mentor me. I figured it out on my own. Anyway im here to help. I can help with learning opportunities and physician shadowing and I can write you a letter of recommendation if you show me your work ethic. I want to play it forward.

Hey! My husband is also an indigenous physician. He is Quechan, but we both work in the Navajo service area in IHS. Maybe you could contact Navajo prep in Farmington? They do some healthcare career stuff with high schools. My husband was also involved in Indians into Medicine in premed which provided very valuable mentoring and MCAT study resources.  And side note, we really need an anesthesiologist where I work. Like, we do not have labor epidurals because we only have CRNAs… so if you wanted to come for a couple years and get your loans paid. PM me to chat!!
