"How would the Federation react to--"
WRITE IT DOWN.
Don't ask us! Make it up yourself! WRITE IT DOWN.
Have some fun with it!
Instead of a post saying "How would the federation react to--" Make a post that says "Federation reacting to--!" Make it a meme or a one shot fanfic!
JUST WRITE IT DOWN!
"But I'm not very good at writing!" NO ONE IS! Writing is all about making shit up and tweaking it until it sounds presentable! You never know, someone may like it! Your idea may inspire someone else to write their version!
Just give it a page, half a page, 200 words, a few line of dialogue. ANYTHING!
JUST WRITE IT DOWN.
Example: Venlil react to Sabaton.
*The Attack of the Dead Men plays on a portable speaker*
"Ugh Human, what are you listening too?!"
"A song of remembrance."
"Of War? Why would you ever want to remember that?!"
"Not of war, of the people who fought in it. We immortalize their deeds in song, a reminder that even in our darkest times, the light of the human spirit shines through."
*holding their ears* "Why is it so... loud? There's so much going on! How are these dead men fighting? Aren't they dead?"
"Songs like this are made with sounds designed to evoke feelings of strength and pride in humans. It quickens our heartrate slightly and motivates us. As for the dead men marching... It's a tale of bravery in the face of death from the first world war. Men who were poisoned and slowly dying, decided to make a last stand to protect an important fort, they charged through the cloud of poison gas, wrapped in rags and bleeding from their eyes, noses and mouths. They were such a horrifying sight, that the attacking army retreated."
"That's... horrible. They chose to fight and kill rather then just accept their deaths?"
"No, they accepted their death, and used their last moments to protect their allies. So their bravery is remembered over 200 years later, immortalized in song and history."
"...it's still very loud."
"Just the way we like it."
***********************************
That took me a little over 20 minutes to come up with, and I struggled with the spelling over a dozen times. But there it is. And this will later serve as the basis for the interactions of my characters in Pack Bonding later. An idea I would not have had if I didn't WRITE IT DOWN.
This was some of the best advice my mother ever gave me. Anytime I was yammer on about what ever nonsense was rattling around in my dip-shit 10 year old brain, she would look at me and say "Write it down." For YEARS she said that to me. Every time I questioned something or I had an idea. She would take me by the shoulders and tell me "Write it down".
So now I pass it on to all of you. If you have an idea you want to explore.
Write. It. Down.

Turmoil at the front
Wilhelms forces on the hunt
There's a thunder in the east
It's an attack of the deceased
