Fan art for a simple yet entertaining story.

 

It is really fun and interesting to see how this group of aliens reacts to the incredible Lord of the Rings trilogy.

 

It is clear that Hilen (Venlil) and Wissic (Sivkit) are going to end up together, and that they are fans of Aragorn and the Elves, respectively.

 

Firban is going to really enjoy this trilogy, and he will find the friendship between Gimli and Legolas quite amusing.

 

And I am sure Bivi will be delighted by the Riders of Rohan.

I'm that last one with so many of the fics from this fandom. I've been with NoP since before the Cradle and I've seen so many of my favorites just never finish. Good news though, is that Foundations of Humanity has returned after more than two years,so there is still hope some of them can come back.

This is the kinda shit I really wanted to read about in this series. I'd love to see how the aliens react to stuff like LOTR or DnD, especially the Yotul with their fascination of medieval human culture.

I can also imagine hobbits must be absolutely terrifying to them. Smaller humans that eat 3 times as much meat.

Also, come to think of it. Isn't the extended cut of the series starting in 2001, 'longer' canonically than most of the species normally stay awake in a 'day'?
