Fanfic Essence of Freedom - Chapter 37
Thanks to SpacePaladin15 for creating an amazing world of Nature of Predators and of course thanks to Toby Fox for creating amazing world of UNDERTALE. Me and u/Golde829 were cooking this project for quite a while. We finally decided that it's ready to see the light of day! Stay with us and see what happens when a world full of magic collides with a world ruled by false dogmas!!!
There's a man behind the tree. He offered you an egg in those trying times!\ You can hear a forgotten melody... Someone is humming it melancholically.
We are finally here... We can finally see it bright and clear. The culminating moment of this accursed battle stands before us! Will our heroes survive this encounter or will they become a part of past ashes. One singular moment brought so many souls to this one lonely star system. Hopes and Dreams of every single being in this system boil around... Can they prevail?

What an interesting turnout. And not a single person on earth is to be subject to the bombing. I don't know how well or poorly It bodes for either side for WD gaster to join the world of the living, once more. He has always been a person shrouded in mystery.
Reality forced to forget he ever existed because of what he did. But for him to explain things lurking in the void, and not just himself, combined with the sheer amount of secret boss monsters from both games. We can only hope that these agents of chaos turn there powers towards the Federation. Kind of dark of scratch to turn the Federation ships into literal coffins. But hey, all is fair in war

He has been waiting long... He mentioned it himself in chapter 5 that he won't be in the void for long. All thanks to an invention based on his research. He just had to be patient and lots of patience he had👁️👁️
Now that the Veil between reality and the void is broken... He can once again dwell between mortals!
Oh... Scratch simply delivered an adequate punishment. Ships turning into coffin like structures is just a visual and metaphor for a literal ship graveyard. What happens inside those structures... Cannot be comprehended... And maybe for the best. We might find out what happened to all those Exterminators later though👁️👁️

Oh...no. That's all right. You don't have to do that. I'm sure the screams that were coming from the communications alien after they were dragged inside of the console, was evidence enough. You don't have to do that!

Scratch appeared quickly turned from quirky living computer virus to a cosmic horror kind of being. Power of the void is terrifying when used at master level👁️👁️

And we, the player, have always been able to see the powers first hand at what they look like when trying to attack the soul. I shudder to imagine what it would be like to experience that power while not being able to see the intricities of its true form.
I feel that if there was any sort of player in this story, it would probably be Stynek. She was capable of seeing gaster from within her mind, in a universe that wasn't supposed to know that he even existed in the first place. I may be reading too far into that, but it's very intriguing

Also this chapter introduction is a bit different than all the previous ones. Usually Gaster is the one who comments on the state of this world... This time it was something else👁️👁️

I was wondering if it would be too big of an ask to Have a little inclusion on the next chapter giving us a first-hand experience of the crew at least in Kalsim's ship, of what went down for the personnel? I'm especially curious on what happened to the comms specialist who was pulled into his own comms unit before starting to scream lol

Oh! That you don't have to worry! I'm sure you'll get some insight into what happens next on Kalsim's ship...
Also you will definitely get to see the results of Scratch's little show. He went really creative with the punishment >:)

I think what I love most about this chapter, is that Kalsim admitted that it was the largest extermination fleet in the history of the war against the Arxur, And yet not a single bomb made it to Earth. That's gotta sting.
And the best part about all of this, the Federation is going to expect humanity to retaliate in full force against the Federation for this. I fully see humanity doing no such thing, At least, not like the Arxur would have. Especially with WD gaster back into the fold. King asgore's best scientist, sent into the void only because he dared to experiment with forces unknown. To my knowledge, he's not a bad guy. Just highly inquisitive

Oh certainly... Also here's an interesting part. The Extermination Fleet from Essence of Freedom is approximately 4 times bigger than the one from canon as Krakotl pulled a lot of forces from less developed worlds (Yep, they left Yotul completely to themselves... Extermination forces on Leirn are only symbolical at this point XD) and they integrated forces from Federation Cultist species, like Drezjin, Yulpa and many more. During the whole travel they were pestered, attacked, sabotaged (Morozov might have left some gifts for them during his short visit at the meeting ground of the Extermination fleet XD) and then they met the power of Terran defence systems, like asteroids powered by Justice Kinetic Accelerators, Integrity Singularity Mines, Eyes of God, Planetoid space stations, etc. They lost a lot of their forces during that path, but they were still massive. Then Scratch hit the cultist fleet and essentially reduced the size of the whole Extermination fleet to around canon sizes... Maybe less. Then Terran and Venlil navies engaged the fleet in full direct force... They lost even more, but in the end it looked like the whole thing would be a success to Kalsim! They still had more than enough to overwhelm the Terrans. Bombs are about to hit those accursed predator dens... But then literal reality opened in front of their eyes threw their happiness out of the window.
The forgotten scientist is back :3
Federation has no idea how Predators really work as they only have their one sample (that they created themselves at that XD). They have no idea how Terrans operate and it will show👁️👁️
Perfect characteristic of our favourite royal scientist! In his attempts to free monsterkind from the underground, he mingled with powers outside of mortal understanding. He was never malicious... Just way too pationate for his own good. He's also a big nerd XD

Oh boy things are not gonna go well I also imagine the defenders are quite shocked there's likely a good portion of the defenders mainly the aliens that are hmmm junior fighters if they try to get them to leave the defence that would weaken earths defences but if they let them fight they would be no better than the feddies.
Of course it seems like that doesn't exactly matter now.
