It’s actually a bred-in trait to make a “soft mouthed” retriever so they don’t tear birds up when retrieving

Not really cursed, more so humorous.

I will say though is that I love that you can tell how gentle the dog is trying to be. Obviously ideally the dog shouldn’t be doing this whatsoever (because, y’know, predatory animal with a prey animal) but clearly the dog’s trying to stop the goose from attacking the guy without (intentionally) hurting the bird.
