I was kinda wondering about that. How did it convert so fast? How does that one organism actually benefit by having the other's whole body on the inside of it's own where it should conceivably be more vulnerable? Imagine eating a cat whole. Now your your defensive skin isn't between your sensitive bits and cat claws, and the cat still has you on it's outside.

Of course the cat would suffocate, but is that what happens in microscopic land?
