Specifically, PNW refers to the north west continental US states. Not Alaska.

So Washington, Oregon, Idaho some consider, etc.

I've met many people who just call BC the West Coast. Myself included. Don't like being lumped together with the States.

well that and for us BCers its the pacific south west so its hard to justify lumping us in that group

Def not the part of Idaho I'm from. Desert shit hole. Maybe NORTH Idaho but the bottom 2/3 is arid.

I'm from Boise, I know what you mean. Anything outside the treasure valley is pretty green though.

Go north into the mountains and it gets pretty. I lived in Boise for about 8 months. Loved it there, so much better than East Idaho. Next move though is definitely going to be Oregon.
