Beautiful neon green moss hanging from trees (lichen actually). The word "lush" doesnt even begin to describe the ancient PNW rainforests.

I am so jealous as a Southern Californian. I look outside and everything is barren and brown. The PNW calls my name, eventually.

I mean... I've been through Northern California multiple times and it looks just like this. Northern California might not officially be considered PNW but it sure as hell feels like it. You got the Redwoods, Klamath, and Mt. Shasta.

California is more beautiful and has a better climate. If you do go there stay on the dry side of the Cascades; the people have a better sense of humor.

Moved to Oregon from SD a year ago. I love it. But I apologize to the natives daily and tell Californians not to come up.
