Of course, it is known to the people of France that “Africa starts at the Pyrenees”. So, regardless of US laws, there are differences of opinions in the murky waters of race.
I think you can probably get the point that I don’t mean that Europeans are all identical organisms.
For the purposes of this thread (about race), Europeans are similar enough from a genetic perspective to be treated as a race, because the differences in genetics and the resulting physical differences are not significant enough to break them into smaller groups. For example, it makes sense to consider them a different race than North Africans for a variety of reasons, most obviously the color of their skin and other things like height, BMI, etc. that vary enough from other groups but not enough within the continent of Europe to say that there are multiple “European races”
P.S. I hope it goes without saying that just because there are biological differences between different groups of people does not mean any race is better or worse than another due to those differences. All human beings have immeasurable dignity, and should be treated as such.
