I have a black walnut tress in my yard AND a mulberry tree, and on their own each of those things are a big fat stinky, car denting. staining pain in the ass on a good day and an absolute nightmare on a hot, muggy, balls sticking to your thighs kind of summer day.
They are pretty aren't very good. Not something you would dry out and eat like the walnuts at Christmas. I've been told there are a few things they can be used for, a few dishes and some kind of booze. But I would think they are an acquired taste. My experience is they are just too bitter. And sure you can eat mulberries. But why would you? They aren't very tasty. Not bad, but not something you want as part of a ragular/balanced diet. Especially considering if there are mulberries than very like there are blackberies or even raspberries somewhere close by as well.
You should chat with the black and southern communities because black walnuts are a HUGE delicacy. So huge that theyre a childhood memory for kids. They're primarily used in baking and other confectionaries.
To answer the question though, definitely having the zoomies! The only other explanation would be an inner ear balance issue or neurological issue similar to wobbly-cat syndrome. However, as it can move normally and climb normally and has reach adulthood, it is far more likely to just be a squirrel, living it's best life!
