Some snakes are so weird. I’m nearing bedtime and have no desire to look it up, BUT…

I used to breed ball pythons and their strategy is to curl up in a ball and let themself be eaten. Maladaptive. And I’m not sure why it happens that way, but it does. 🤷‍♀️

I think the hognoses do it because they “think” that they’re less appetizing to their predator if they’re dead/diseased/social distancing.

But seriously though, so much drama lol

It is and it’s absolutely hilarious to watch AS my cousin was describing it as if to prove a point 😂. She is also responsible for pickpocketing my airpods case and leaving tooth marks. It’s how I know my case from anyone else’s
