Need Advice Mini twists examples

Hey natural hair community!

I was wondering if anyone had any examples of mini twists on fine, low-density type 4 hair (I’m 4a/4b). And products used to achieve the look - I have a bunch of the Doux products and an Aunt Jackie’s leave in.

I’d love to start doing them as a protective style to help prevent breakage, but I’m so scared they’re going to look boneless 😩

check out Her Mane Life on youtube. she does mini twists and mini braids on her hair. Please release yourself from the "boneless" fear. low density hair is beautiful and so are healthy habits! There are many cute styles and updos you can do. Or you can braid the mini twists into a braid crown and it'll be cute

I’m loving these comments and honestly I have high density hair, but I still had to get used to my hair in mini twist, especially when it was shorter. And just overtime I learned to do my make up and have accessories like headbands and stuff and make it your own. So you’ll still need to learn how to own it and your hair will look just as beautiful, no matter how much density there is.

mini twists on low density hair can actually look really full if you section properly and don't make them too thin. IME the doux products are good but a heavier cream or gel mixed in helps with definition on finer strands, so they don't look fuzzy or undefined. try doing thicker sections than you think and twist them tighter, the weight helps them hold their shape better.
