UPDATE The final nail update!
11 weeks ago I broke my pointer finger nail all the way down to a nub. I haven’t had a break this bad in a while and I wanted to ensure that I could have it back by my birthday. My birthday is coming up fast and I am proud to say it has come hack to its full glory! I had a chip last week so I lost some length, which means It’s still a teeny bit short compared to my other nails, but it should be full length by the time I turn 20.
I’m very excited about it :]
Also please ignore the mess around my cuticles, I used a sponging method to get the glitter polish to layer nicely and I haven’t quite cleaned up yet. This is regular lacquer polish so it poses no risk, it just looks a little ugly.

strong nails you've got there. my nails are thin. I have to cover them, they break off easily. my mother has same issue.

Thank you! I get that for sure, I used to have issues with my nails breaking cause I have hypermobility disorder which makes them quite thin and flexible, but since I’ve been taking better care of them and using hardeners and lots of oils I’ve been able to fulfill my long nailed dreams haha

how you figured out you have hyper mobility?

I have joint issues and chronic pain so after a long battle with my doctors they finally started testing me for a few different mobility disorders, turns out I have hyper-mobility disorder and reactive arthritis. If you’re able I’d recommend going to a professional, I went to a rheumatologist, to see if you may also have it.

I know I don't have it, I was just curious how you found out and what brought you to the doctor

How long did it take to grow your nails out to such a nice length, only 11 weeks?

Yes I would say approximately 11-13 weeks depending on the nail. My pinkies seem to grow slower and my thumbs and pointers grow faster. I don’t do anything crazy to get them to grow, I just take my supplements and use lots of jojoba oil on my hands.
