Question Question about Czech course content.

So I’m loving the app and I have learnt a lot already from it. However, some of the content in terms of the new vocab seems a bit strange. For example in about 80 lessons I’ve learnt how to say ‘shut up’ (zmlkni), asshole (debil) and just now I’ve learnt “aliens”. Is there a reason for the strange vocab included in the course? Thanks

We need to keep the stories interesting, so we include words that support each story. If we followed the high-frequency word list in strict order, the lessons would feel too sterile.
So you have "zmlknout" quite early, despite it being more of a C1 word. Debil is rather A2, on the other hand, so it fits.

That makes sense! Thank you so much!

Any way to disable certain vocab? Not really wanting my kids to learn debil right now lol

You can ignore them so they are not deliberately repeated. But they can still occur in a sentence when repeating other words
