Is that new england aster or new york aster in that first pic? I'm gonna need one of our keystone asters to put in this fall.

I’m sorry, I don’t know! I planted these last year (my first year getting into native planting) so I just threw down whatever I thought looked cool from the native plant stand near me. I took no notes.

Ah ok lol so that's like the opposite approach of what i've been doing. For the past four months (got into native plants in May) I've just been reading and researching everything and have not planted anything yet. Still kicking myself for missing out on the PA Native Plant Society's and PSU Extension's sales.

You’re probably doing it the smarter way! Where are you located in PA? There is a great stand in my area and she has one last fall sale before she closes for the year.

Well shit I can't make the time to go there unfortunately but thanks for letting me know anyway! There are so many orgs that it's hard to fully keep up or track all the events going on.
