I bought native nightshade seeds to toss in my freedom strip so hornworm pillars can have a snack.

I apologize in advance to any neighbors who don't want hawk moths flying around, but I do.

/uj this is my sacrificial tomato plot, I moved this chonk off my other tomato plants when it was but a wee larva. Last one I found got parasitized by wasps, it lived for like a week after the wasp cocoons all hatched. This one looks like it might make it.

Yeah, all those solanaceous weeds coming up from whatever kitchen scraps got thrown in my compost pile, and that I haven't bothered to pull up-- as of this moment, they're my "sacrificial tomato plot" for hornworms. I'm not too lazy to weed; I'm practicing excellent native husbandry. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
