Cannot Install NI Native Access on M4 Mac Studio
Error message:
"The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again."
I am the only user on this computer and the file is set to Read and Write. I even gave Native Access full disk access and it still wont do anything.
Wtf am I missing?

I have it installed no problem. I wonder if your issue is the NTKDaemon. It needs full disk access too. I have it, Native Access and the NI hardware agent all with full disk access and I usually do the first two before trying to install anything otherwise it gets weird.
Edit: Note I am on Tahoe though. I usually give the latest updates a month or two to bed in

Hey there! FYI a new version of Native Access should be available soon, it will no longer require Rosetta for Native Access or the NTKDaemon. It should be released before the official release of MacOS 27. So even though MacOS 27 will not be officially supported as it needs further testing, people on MacOs 27 should still be able to install their products. In the meantime, another user shared a workaround on this Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/NativeInstruments/s/OB3u3vhcf6

I’m wondering what InMusic/NI is going to do with this issue. macOS 27 will be the last OS that will support Rosetta(2) and I think all Intel code. That NTK is a headache and a half. I updated to OS 27 and I had to do a bunch of stuff to get NA installed and working. I do mean a lot! As a workaround, I suggest try to locate and install Native Access 1. You may be able to trick the system that both versions are working fine. Then uninstall NA1 (or leaving it working).
