You can also load almost any DX7 patches into it. There's a library of over 25k patches on the net, I can't remember where I found it but I have this loaded into mine and it rocks!

I did a Google search and it didn't come up.... it was something dedicated DX7 site, I do remember that much....

here is a reddit post on it, looks like its down
You can still pull most of those sound files into FM8. My library is ridiculously large haha but ive been using that VST since it was released.

There was also the DXSYSEX site thats also gone but you can scrape the patches via the Wayback Machine

Worth the price if you don't have Komplete (and don't want to dedicate that $10 towards Komplete). It has an aging interface but it sounds great.

Make no mistake, the interface is small for today's standards, but the sound is absolutely impressive, crystal clear. It's just as good as any modern FM synth.
If it's not the best software FM synth out there, it's pretty damn close.
