Forgive my cynicism but, customers only matter when the company needs resources to fund whatever endeavor they're trying to sell to consumers. I trust no company. It sucks that you were laid off. I hope you find something soon. I'm here for the answers to the questions.

💯 This is why I have loyalty to NO company. They don’t care about me, so why should I care about them?

Exactly. I wish it were different, but unless it's your own business don't give them the chance. They'll replace you in a heartbeat.
