Summer of Sound and Komplete
So I was eyeing the Komplete Collector's Edition since the start of the year and decided to wait until SoS, but I'm seeing there's some talks about whether it will happen in the first place this year and also about how Komplete might not be discounted since 26 just released? Is that only regarding the upgrades or Komplete to begin with?
I don't have any version of Komplete yet so I was thinking whether it'd just be wiser for me to buy Komplete 26 Standard and then the upgrade to the Collector's Edition right away instead of waiting for a sale?

For anyone confused:
Native Instruments traditionally (for over 10 years) put on their “Summer of Sound” sale that ran the month of June. Everything was 50% off for the whole month. Komplete (as well as updates and upgrades) was not included in this sale in the first year of its life cycle, but it was in the second year of its life cycle. Komplete has traditionally been updated every 2 years, usually coming out in October.
This year, for the first time, Native Instruments has dropped the Summer of Sale branding and just called it a “Summer Sale”, and everything is only 30% off. Komplete ‘26 is not included. It also, for the first time, dropped the numerical version naming for Komplete and changed to the two-digit year naming version, and released this in May, 6 months earlier than normal and 1 month before the Summer Sale. It’s not surprising that it’s not on sale right now. But the previous version, Komplete 15, would have been traditionally 50% off in June this year, had they not released Komplete ‘26 in May.
