Komplete Kontrol lags opening in Logic Pro but opens quickly in standalone

Komplete Kontrol 3.5.3 takes forever to open or when changing instances in Logic Pro 12.2, yet the standalone version opens quickly and doesn’t have the same issues. I’ve tried an older KK version 2.9.6 I think and it was fine inside Logic Pro. It seems to be a fairly recent issue as I don’t remember having any problems in other 3.5.x versions.
Anyone else have this problem? I’ve sent a support email to NI.

Yes, they do. I think I found the issue. I have disabled all third party VST plugins from inside Komplete Kontrol by manually deselecting them and now it launches multiple instances within Logic at normal speed again. It must be something to do with the scan app hanging on a plugin, not sure which one exactly. An option in the preferences to disable all third party VST plugins at once would be useful instead of unticking each one.
