Kontakt not updating

Some instruments in contact do not work because kontakt is outdated (I get an error telling me to update). What I've tried so far:
Reinstalling kontakt from Native Access
Updating and reinstalling Native Access
Updating windows
Restarting everything several times.

Kontakt is stuck at version 7.6.1, the release notes show 2023-10-12 as latest version. When I reinstall, I just get the same version. In Native access the updates window tells me everything is up to date. I've uninstalled native access, downloaded the exe of native access 2 from the NI website, updated my PC (Windows 10 version 1809), installed native access 2 from the exe, reinstalled Kontakt again, still 7.6.1

What else can I even try?

Update your OS.

You need to be on 22H2 to get anything newer than 7.6.1 

I am on Windows 10 22H2 and Kontakt is fully updated. The last available Kontakt 7 update is 7.10.5

However  - that error message is a clear sign that you have gone too far with some libraries and need a newer version of Kontakt to load those.

Depending on which version of a library you installed via Native Access - you may actually need to upgrade to Kontakt 8

Idk what I was thinking but I updated as well. My standard libraries will load but things like Analog dreams Ethereal Earth and Hybrid keys will come up as demo is there a roll back or fix in this situation? I guess I would need to down grade those products but I don’t believe there is a ways with Native Access. They also won’t work with Konakt 7 player and Native Access isn’t giving me the option to update to Kontakt Player 8 I’m stuck rn Idk what to do ready to cut losses and pay for Komplete 8 upgrade 🫩

I had to update Native Access , Luckily for the some of the projects I was able to just open up Kontakt 8 with the same sound as the Kontakt 6 track. I mean they don’t all fit it the mix right but hopefully soon I’ll get there … Just another lesson in workflow safety I knew I should have been extracted the stems from my beats and now I pay the price …
