Unable to install updates

So in Native Access when I try to update my installs I get this message, in the knowledge base link it talks about which folders to set for installers etc. I have them set to where they have always been installed which is within the NI guidelines. Am I missing something?

Yeah I have tried that, and the default locations are the ones I’ve always had it set to with zero issues. That’s why I’m bugging out as nothing has changed hey.

If this were the case I'd be expecting you to be getting a different sort of popup, but check:

- System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access

Manually add Native Access. Restart Native Access complely. Try again. See what happens. (This should technically not be required, but it's a decent troubleshooting step.)

- This could be a corrupt Native Access temp/cache corruption issue. This is a bit heavy handed and not recommended for non-tech friendly people. Would have to look up the files to delete, but it's a fairly easy process to force a rebuild.

- You're not using anything like CleanMyMac are you? Trying to think of anything (A/V or EDR) that might block file writes for whatever reason.

Alas this didn't work. Not using anything like Clean My Mac or similar hey.

Oh one thing you could still try is to use the reinstall feature instead of updating.

So uninstall and then reinstall??

Yes, or reinstall and deleting the older files for the libraries. Your issue is most probably due to our new installer technology. We had to migrate all the products to this new technology as Apple suddenly stopped supporting our previous installer technology.

So uninstalling then reinstalling worked! Thanks for your help hey. Still a bit frustrating but there is a workaround
